Upgrading the “Smart Control Center”
The Smart Control Center represents the technological forefront of the city’s security network. It enables real-time monitoring and surveillance across Haifa in cooperation with enforcement authorities.
Its capabilities include:
- Early detection of potential risks.
- Rapid dispatch and guidance of response teams.
- Assistance in solving crimes and supporting criminal investigations.
Recent upgrades integrate advanced technologies such as facial recognition, movement analysis, and automated alerts for unusual events. These improvements make the control center a key tool in preventing violence, maintaining public order, and enhancing residents’ sense of safety.
Expanding the Camera Network
As part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to strengthen personal safety, additional cameras have been installed throughout Haifa – in central areas, parks, schools, beaches, leisure districts, and residential neighborhoods.
The expanded system provides:
