The campaign is delivered through informational videos on social media, billboard advertising at major intersections across the city, and digital media. It calls on both teenagers and parents to take responsibility for their choices and to look after their own safety.
In light of concerning data showing an increase in the use of dangerous substances, the Community Safety Authority has set a key goal for this summer: to reduce and minimize the use of harmful substances.
This summer as well, in cooperation with the Youth Department and community centers throughout the city, the Authority is offering a wide range of community-based prevention activities as part of the Safe Summer program. These include youth leisure zones, safe driving simulator activities, creative workshops, agricultural work, carpentry, and more. These high-quality and enjoyable activities provide meaningful leisure options with educational and value-based messages, free of charge.
Mr. Kirill Karetnik, Chair of the Community Safety Authority, concludes:
